A powerful sword and a new lover are on the horizon for Hiro, the loveable Japanese guy with the power to bend time and space on the NBC hit “Heroes.”

“The next seven episodes revolve around his quest for his sword – which Hiro believes will let him focus his powers and get back the control he’s apparently lost over them,” Masi Oka, the actor who plays Hiro, told the TV Web site, tvaddict.com.

“His [loss] of power is tied to his emotional state,” he says. “Losing [his murdered girlfriend] Charlie was devastating for him – a sort of jolt of reality.”

Oka, who’s been nominated for a Golden Globe award, says Hiro will get another girlfriend soon.
