The alleged royal rift between King Charles, his son Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle may be lingering in the air, but the new monarch still keeps his family close to his heart.
Charles, 73, met with Britain’s Prime Minister Liz Truss at Buckingham Palace on Thursday and eagle-eyed viewers saw how he subtly honored the Duke of Sussex.
Around his home, Charles has photos of his family to keep them nearby as he attends to affairs of state.
One snapshot showed Harry, 38, and Markle, 41, from their 2018 wedding.
Another photo featured Charles’ late mother Queen Elizabeth with himself, alongside grandson Prince William and great-grandson Prince George from Christmas 2019.
Charles ascended to the British throne upon the death of the Queen on Sept. 8. His coronation is set to be held on May 6, 2023 — the date of Harry and Markle’s son, Archie’s birthday.
The ceremony will be scaled back and modernized, as opposed to the Queen’s own coronation in 1953.
Westminster Abbey will be the host for the event, with Charles’ wife, Queen Consort Camilla, to be crowned alongside him.
The three-hour service will be trimmed down to just 60 minutes and the guest list has been cut to 2,000 people.

The two were also snubbed with the funeral’s seating arrangements, having been seated in a corner at the end of the second row beside Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
William, 40, his wife Kate Middleton and other working members of the royal family were seated in the front row.
