‘IDOL’ OUSTER FUELS OFFER
CHRIS Daughtry has been asked to join the multi-platinum rock band, Fuel.
The band made the official offer to the booted “American Idol” contestant on last night’s edition of “Extra.”
The members of Fuel took notice of Daughtry last March when he performed a version of their song “Hemorrhage” on the Fox talent show about a month after their lead singer, Brett Scallions, quit.
The band, which is slated to begin recording their fourth album this year, has been looking for a lead singer since February and recently approached Daughtry about the job.
