Jason Sudeikis confirmed last night that he’s leaving “Saturday Night Live.”

Sudeikis broke the news on “Late Show with David Letterman.”

Sudeikis told Letterman that he’s been with “SNL” for 10 years. When Letterman asked Sudeikis what he’ll do with his free time, he said, “You start getting that itch in August where you start getting sketch ideas and you ask yourself, Can I make this sketch idea last 90 minutes and turn it into a movie?”

Sudeikis, 37, will probably use his time to promote “We’re the Millers,” a comedy with Jennifer Aniston that premieres Aug. 7. He is engaged to Olivia Wilde.
