‘Jimmy’ move
‘Jimmy
Kimmel Live” will start five minutes earlier, at midnight — lopping five minutes off of “Nightline,” ABC announced yesterday.
“Kimmel” will move to midnight on Friday, Feb. 4. “Nightline,” which has become a strong ratings draw, will remain at 11:35 p.m.
“[‘Nightline executive producer] James Goldston . . . is developing a new format to maximize ‘Nightline’s’ editorial content,” ABC News president Ben Sherwood said.
