JUST HOLD IT!
If you’re going to see Woody Allen‘s “Writer’s Block,” you might want to go first – to the bathroom, that is.
The Atlantic Theater Company, where Allen’s double bill of one-act plays started previews this week, is in an old church, and the restrooms are behind the stage.
Apparently, it’s all the crew can do to change Santo Loquasto‘s Riverside Drive set into an entire (and gorgeous) Old Saybrook, Conn., living room during the 15-minute intermission.
A sign at the theater’s entrance warns theatergoers that the restrooms will be inaccessible for the first 10 minutes of intermission – though Thursday night’s set change was accomplished in seven.
