FIRST came “Urinetown,” then “Debbie Does Dallas.” Now make way for “The Joys of Sex,” the latest titillatingly titled show to leap from the Fringe to off-Broadway.

“Sex” – which takes its name, but little else, from Alex Comfort’s how-to manual of the ’70s – is expected to hit the boards in the spring, Variety reported yesterday. (A source said it’s still in negotiations.)

The four-person musical revue won the Audience Favorite Award at last summer’s New York International Fringe Festival, which hardly lacked for works with raunchy titles – “Deviant,” “Pissing in the Wind” and “Naked Girls Drinking,” among them.

The title aside, though, “Sex” is more perky than prurient, with songs like “Inconceivable,” sung by a married couple desperately trying to have a child.

“It’s sort of ‘I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change’ meets ” ‘Sex and the City,’ ” says Melissa Levis, who created the show with David Weinstein.

“It’s a very good clean fun dirty show.”

The Post’s Donald Lyons called the Fringe show “schizophrenic” – part “raunchy revue,” part humorous and human comedy. He praised its four cast members, particularly David Josefsberg, whom he called a “breakout phenom.”

Can “Pissing in the Wind” be far behind?
