Kate Hudson isn’t one to shy away from sharing intimate details about her life — even if it involves the bedroom.

The “Almost Famous” actress, 45, opened up about her sex life in a new interview with Bustle magazine, where she described working alongside beefcakes like Max Greenfield, Justin Theroux, Jay Ellis and Toby Sandeman in Netflix’s upcoming comedy series “Running Point” as a “dream” come true.

Naturally, the conversation moved from her hunky male co-stars to her sex life, in which she shared that the “best part about sex in your 40s, honestly, is the freedom.”

“Sex isn’t supposed to be pretty,” the mom of three explained, “and I think that when you get older you kind of have more fun with that.”

Hudson has been engaged to musician Danny Fujikawa since 2021.

The “Bride Wars” star said that despite their commitment to each other, Fujikawa, 38, “can handle” her flirty nature — even when it’s directed at other people.

“I’m the biggest flirt on the planet. So I think anybody who’s ever been with me is very aware that I flirt with everybody — girls, boys,” Hudson told Bustle in the interview published on Tuesday. “Thank God Danny is my partner. He can handle this. I met the right guy.”

The rom-com star has always been an open book when it comes to intimacy, even talking about sex with her famous mom, Goldie Hawn, 79, who spilled her secret to keeping her 42-year relationship with Kurt Russell spicy last year.

When the adorable mother-daughter duo sat down for an interview with People magazine in 2020, Hudson revealed she gets it from her mama, playfully asking Hawn, “What did you teach me about sex? There are so many things. We talk a lot about sex. Surprisingly.”

“The First Wives Club” actress remembered telling her only daughter, “I said, ‘I want you to understand something about Mommy: I’m not a prude. I love sex.'”

“Oh, that’s right,” Hudson chimed in. “And then she said, ‘Sex is so much fun. But it’s better when it’s with one person.’ And that was a good lesson.”

She recalled Hawn trying to pry about her sex life when she got older.

“You were trying to engage and asking, like, what was going on with me sexually,” Hudson told her mom. “I was like, ‘Mom, let’s just say that I’m kind of a sexually-oriented type of personality.’ And she goes, ‘Please, I have known that since you were 2 years old.’ I was like, ‘Mom!'”

Hudson has three children.

She has daughter Rani, 6, with her fiancé, son Bingham, 13, with Muse frontman Matt Bellamy and son Ryder, 21, with her ex-husband, the Black Crowes’ Chris Robinson, whom she was married to from 2000 until 2007.
