Kevin Eubanks is returning to “The Tonight Show” — but only for one night.

The show’s former bandleader is dropping by his old haunt on Tuesday night’s show to perform a track off his upcoming CD, “Zen Food.”

He’ll be joined by fellow “Tonight Show Band” bandmates drummer Marvin “Smitty” Smith and keyboardist Gerry Etkins.

Eubanks quit “Tonight” last May, after 18 years as host Jay Leno’s sidekick musician, to concentrate on his own tunes.
