BIANCA Ryan, an amazing 11-year-old girl with a pair of lungs like Mariah Carey’s, won $1 million prize last night in the finale of NBC’s hit talent show, “America’s Got Talent.”
The Philadelphia elementary-school student was left teary-eyed and speechless after she learned that she had won the competition.
“Talent” wrapped up its nine-week run last night after turning out to be the unlikely hit of the season.
Producers stretched the final show to one hour by jampacking it with a slew of glitzy Las Vegas-style acts, including a performance by the Blue Man Group, hard-rocking blond bombshell twins and a mini competition in which the weirdest act (a high-flipping acrobat) took home a car.
The show’s format is loosely based on “American Idol,” but was open to all kinds of performers – from yodeling grade-schoolers and rappin’ grannies to a guy who strummed his guitar with a weed whacker.
All three of “Talent’s” judges – British tabloid editor Piers Morgan, singer Brandy Norwood and David Hasselhoff – are expected to return next January.
