‘King James” and his Miami Heat were ratings royalty for ABC.
The network notched the best NBA Finals numbers in eight years — for a five-game series — with Miami’s 121-106 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder Thursday night.
The victory gave Miami, led by LeBron James, its second NBA title in seven seasons — and its first with James, who left the Cleveland Cavaliers to sign with Miami in 2010.
ABC averaged an 11.8 overnight rating for the series.
