American recording artists and style icon Lady Gaga hopes to do a summer internship at the U.K. milliner, Philip Treacy, UK Vogue reported Tuesday.

Treacy has designed several of Gaga’s legendary headpieces including a diamond encrusted lobster piece and the telephone shaped headgear to correspond with her recently released single, “Telephone.”

“The request came through quite a while ago,” a spokesperson for Treacy told Vogue Tuesday morning. “They get on well and she has applied for an internship although nothing has been confirmed yet.”

A well-known milliner in the fashion world, Treacy was commissioned to design the hats for the 2005 wedding of Prince Charles to Camilla Parker Bowles.
