HAWAII police have dropped charges against Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, the actor who plays the mysterious Mr. Eko on ABC’s “Lost.”

The 39-year-old actor became the latest cast member of ABC’s hit drama to be in trouble with the law for alleged traffic violations when he was ticketed on Sept. 2 for driving without a license and for disobeying an officer.

He spent six hours in jail and was released after posting $600 bond.

According to published reports, a local court dropped the charges after the actor’s lawyer was able to prove that Akinnuoye-Agbaje did have a California driver’s license at the time of his arrest.
