Madonna’s son David Banda is clearing the air about his well-being.

The 18-year-old made headlines over the weekend for claiming he’s “scavenging” for food after moving out of his mom’s multimillion-dollar home in New York City.

However, Banda walked back his comments in a statement on his Instagram Story that he shared on Sunday.

“TO ALL OF THOSE CONCERNED. My mother is very supportive of me,” he wrote. “She has always been supportive of me.”

“I am very happy in my life and I am not living out on the streets, starving,” Banda added.

“Please stop worrying everything is good,” he concluded.

During an Instagram Live, Banda said that he and his girlfriend, 21-year-old model Maria Atuesta, are living in The Bronx.

“It’s lovely to experience it being nine o’clock at night, me being hungry and realizing that I don’t have enough money to get food and scavenging. It’s fun to be young,” he said.

Banda is charging $200 a pop for his guitar lessons, which can be booked on his Instagram. He has also made money as a model.

But his earnings are nothing compared to his mother’s, who is reportedly worth a whopping $850 million.

Banda is one of Madonna’s six children. He was an infant when he was adopted by the “Material Girl” singer with her ex-husband, Guy Ritchie.

Madonna showed support for Banda and his music abilities in a 2019 interview with British Vogue.

“What he has more than anything is focus and determination,” she said. “I’m pretty sure he got it from me. He’s the one I have the most in common with. I feel like he gets me; he has more of my DNA than any of my children so far.”

Last year, Banda was seen visiting his mom at her NYC apartment after she was hospitalized with a serious bacterial infection. He went to Madonna’s Upper East Side townhouse with his brother, Rocco Ritchie, 23.

Madonna’s other children include Lourdes Leon, 27, Mercy James, 18, and twins Stella and Estere, 11.

She has welcomed four of her kids onstage during her ongoing “Celebration Tour.”

“I have always been blessed with children who are interested in music, dance and art,” the “Hung Up” singer said in an interview with W magazine in April.

“When I go on tour, nothing brings me more happiness to know, we are all working on the same show creating the magic together,” she continued. “It would be boring if they were just traveling from hotel to hotel, and occasionally coming to watch the show.”

Madonna added, “Of course, I am also their mother, so sometimes we get on each other’s nerves. We are a family of artists but are also a family and that’s what happens.”
