Maury, Jerry sweet ’16
Daytime stalwarts Jerry Springer and Maury Povich will be around for a bit longer.
NBC Universal has extended the runs of “The Jerry Springer Show,” “Maury” and “The Steve Wilkos Show” through September 2016.
All three syndicated shows will continue to air locally on Ch. 11.
“Maury” averages 3.3 million viewers nationally, while “Springer” and “Wilkos” average 2.1 million and 1.8 million viewers, respectively.
“Springer” premiered in 1991; “Maury” is in its 14th season.
