VANDALIA, Ill. — Singer and actress Miranda Cosgrove was injured in a bus accident Thursday, according to her publicist.

Cosgrove, the star of the hit Nickelodeon show “iCarly,” had been on a music tour to support a recently released album.

According to a statement from Cosgrove’s publicist, her tour bus was involved in an accident in Illinois, just outside of Vandalia, located approximately 70 miles northeast of St. Louis, Mo. There were five passengers on the bus and Cosgrove suffered a broken ankle.

“At this time, we are told everyone will be fine,” Cosgrove’s publicist said. “Because of this, her tour is postponed until further notice.”
