Fans of “True Blood” can look forward to at least one more season.
HBO has renewed its vampire series for a seventh season, which will air next summer.
Season Six premiered June 26 to 4.5 million viewers. HBO says the series averages over 10 million viewers a week when other platforms (DVRs, On Demand, repeats) are factored in.
“‘True Blood’ remains a signature show for HBO, and a true phenomenon with our viewers,” HBO programming chief Michael Lombardo said in a statement.
