My Israeli friends get a laugh out of the fact that I’m a fan of director Amos Gitai. While he’s the best known and most popular Israeli filmmaker in the US,  at home he’s less appreciated. For US fans of Gitai, Kino is about to release a DVD six-pack of his films: “Kadosh” (1999), ”Kippur” (2000), “Kedma” (2002), “Alila” (2003), “Devarim” (1995) and “Yom Yom (Day After Day)” (1998). The box set is due  Feb. 23 at a suggested price of  $99.95.
