In what may be the beginning of a sweep, the first award at tonight’s British academy awards goes to composer A.R. Rahman (seen here arriving with director Danny Boyle) for best score for “Slumdog Millionaire.” That was followed by best screenplay (Simon Beaufoy), best cinematography and best sound. “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” has two minor awards so far, for production design and makeup/hair.
