After a week’s run at the Museum of Modern Art, the delicious dark comedy “Laila’s Birthday” has moved to the Cinema Village (12th Street, east of Fifth Avenue). It tells of a surreal day — his daughter’s seventh birthday, no less — in the life of a judge turned taxi driver in the Palestinian city of Ramallah. The film won’t be around for long, so check out this gem ASAP.
