Congratulations to my pal Farran Smith Nehme, with whom I co-programmed the “Shadows of Russia” film series on TCM earlier this year. Her superb Self-Styled Siren blog, surely the wittiest and most erudite on the web for classic movies, is at the very top of a list of top film sites named in the July issue of the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s Film Comment magazine.
