Paramount is reporting that “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” took in a massive $16 million during midnight shows early today, a record for a film opening on a Wednesday. The all-time midnight-show record is held by “The Dark Knight,” which did $18.5 million in midnight business on a Friday.
