Believe it or not, tracking indicates “The Dark Knight” has a good shot at holding onto the No. 1 slot for a fourth weekend in a row. Steve Mason at Fantasy Moguls
is predicting that the major opening, “Pineapple Express” (three stars from me) will sell $25 million worth of tickets over three days versus $28 million for the amazing resilent “The Dark Knight.” Third place, he thinks, will go to the other opener, “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2”
(2.5 stars from moi) with $15.5 million, edging “The Mummy” into fourth place for its second weekend.
