Over at Premiere and The New York Times, some who (correctly) see “300” as fascist are leaping across a chasm to tie it to the Bush administration. Uh-uh. The movie is virtually a panel-by-panel adaptation of the comic book “300,” which was published in 1999 (and is no. 8 on Amazon at the moment).
