A classic black-and-white image of Faye Dunaway taken in 1970 by her then-boyfriend, famed photographer turned filmmaker Jerry Schatzberg, is the basis for this year’s Cannes Film Festival poster released today. Dunaway and Schartzberg will attend a gala showing of a new  restoration of their rarely-screened collaboration from that same year, “Puzzle of a Downfall Child.” Schatzberg’s debut  film was nominated for the festival’s top honor, the Palm d’Or, and he won it two years later for “Scarecrow” starring Al Pacino.
