Neil Jordan’s latest, “Ondine,” set in a tiny seaside Irish town, is a far cry from some of his bigger-budget films. How indie is it? When I sat down with Jordan and star Colin Farrell yesterday to discuss the movie, I queried Jordan about an error in the trailer, which refers to him as the director of “Interview with a Vampire,” as opposed to the correct “Interview with THE Vampire.” (You can see it here at 1:25.) Both were surprised and pretty amused to hear it, and Farrell cited obvious budget constraints as the culprit: “they couldn’t afford the extra two letters,” he surmised.
