Who would have thought it? Isild Le Besco, the 24-year-old French nymphet (“A Toute de Suite,” “Girls Can’t Swim”) is a fan of old John Ford-John Wayne Westerns.

So she told me when I interviewed her in New York last week.

Turns out she also likes films by Austrian-born great Fritz Lang (“Metropolis”) and newer works from Asia. So would she like to make a Western? “Maybe one day,” she says.

I can hardly wait.
