This lobby card for “Superman In Scotland Yard” is from an unidentified foreign release, where presumably whoever colorized the image didn’t know Superman’s outfit is blue (in a wonderful French poster for Columbia’s first Superman serial, it’s red). After Warners bought DC, it released another TV compilation, simply titled “Superman,” in 1973. Hopefully, they will all turn up when Warners get around to an Ultimate Collections’ Edition of the TV series. (They have already dug up “Superman vs. the Molemen” with George Reeves, released by Eagle-Lion, which was later edited into a two-parter for the TV show). They might as well throw in George Reeves’ two starring role in Warner Bros. Bs, “Always a Bride” and “Father is a Prince,” both from 1940.
