Let’s hope WHV gets around to William Dieterle’s “The Last Flight” (1931) starring Richard Barthlemess as a member of the Lost Generation in Paris, a knockoff of “The Sun Also Rises” that’s far better than any bona fide Hemingway adaptation, in its next pre-Code set.
