If you thought “Mockingjay” was going to be the darkest dystopian flick to hit the big screen, think again.

The teaser trailer for “Insurgent” dropped Wednesday — and there’s only one word to describe it: intense.

Opening to a seriously ravaged Chicago, Tris (Shailene Woodley, now working a razor-sharp pixie cut) puts her dauntless skills to the test as she embarks on her latest mission, which involves her already-deceased mother (Ashley Judd) and attempting to reach her fire-stricken home midair.

While the scene itself looks entirely real through Tris’ eyes, fans of the series may wonder if this event is actually happening or if it’s all just a part of her fear landscape.

Find out for sure once “The Divergent Series: Insurgent” hits theaters on March 20, 2015.
