One movie is better than two. At least that seems to be the Weinstein Company’s thinking regarding the release of “Grindhouse” in Britain.

Variety reports that the Robert Rodriguez-Quentin Tarantino double feature — a disappointment at the box office in the United States — will be released in the U.K. and Australia separately. Tarantino’s “Death Proof” is to open there Sept. 21, while a release date for Rodriguez’s “Planet Terror” is still to be determined.
