We may still know next to nothing about one of the fall’s buzziest movies — Christopher Nolan’s “Interstellar,” which opens Nov. 5 — but the most eager of fans can get a special preview beginning next week.

Monday through Wednesday in New York, audiences can explore the film’s “Endurance” spacecraft through a virtual reality experience at AMC Lincoln Square. Presented by Paramount and IMAX, the “Interstellar” Oculus Rift experience immerses testers right in the middle of the action — all from the comfort of a pod in the theater lobby.

Taking place during the theater’s operating hours, the event is free and open to the public — you don’t even need to buy a movie ticket.

After New York, the “Endurance” tour will continue to Houston and Los Angeles before ending up at the Smithsonian in DC. Click here for the full schedule.
