I had an interview scheduled with Reitman the other day about the 25th anniversary Blu-ray release of the original “Ghostbusters” that was abruptly cancelled at the last minute. Coincidence? I’m not sure how I feel about this project finally going forward, given my memories of the first, disappointing “Ghostbusters” sequel. The most financially successful project of the late Dawn Steel’s reign at Columbia, this is the one where the Statue of Liberty came to life and starting moonwalking.
