In a decision bound to cause controversy, Jodie Foster has agreed to play Leni Riefenstahl in a biopic about Hitler’s favorite filmmaker. The Observer of London says British writer Rupert Walters is working on a script for the project, which has been in the works for at least seven years. A director is expected to be announced in two or three months and shooting should start by the end of the year. Riefenstahl died in 2003 at the age of 100. Her films include “Olympia” (1938) and “Triumph of the Will” (1935).
