In Hollywood, fashion is in fashion.

Fresh off Ryan Murphy’s “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story” comes news that another couture dynasty will get the on-screen treatment: the Guccis.

Lady Gaga has teamed with director Ridley Scott on an upcoming film about the murder of founder Guccio Gucci’s grandson, Maurizio, Deadline reports.

Gaga, a Best Actress Oscar nominee for “A Star Is Born,” will play Patrizia Reggiani, Maurizio’s ex-wife who was convicted of plotting his murder in 1995. During the sensational trial, in which she was sentenced to 29 years in the clink, the media nicknamed Reggiani the “Black Widow.” She ultimately served just 18 years.

The film, which has no release date, would surely be in the awards season conversation. The similarly scandalous “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story” received nine Emmy Award nominations, winning three.
