To no one’s surprise, Daniel Day-Lewis, who seems unstoppable at the Oscars, continues his march of collecting best actor honors. He seems less relaxed than at last night’s New York Film Critics bash, where there were no cameras. But he’s humble and generous, expressing his gratitude “my evil twin brother” Paul Thomas Anderson and John Lesher of Paramount Vantage, whom he neglected to thank last night. Good sport of the night goes to J.K. Simmons of “Juno,” who graciously agrees to accept an award for a TV movie in which he was billed 17th after no one else shows up.
