There was little love shown today for “Into the Wild,” which was snubbed for Best Picture while Sean Penn failed to get nods as director or sceenwriter, and Eddie Vedder’s score and songs were ignored as well. Hal Holbrook was nominated for Best Supporting Actor, and the film picked up a nod for film editing as well.
