Former snarky girl sleuth Kristen Bell seems to be finally fed up with the kind of crappy, cliche rom-com roles she’s getting offered on the big screen (first “When In Rome,” now “You Again”… ick); the only place she’s been allowed to use her sardonic side, full-strength, is in her voiceover capacity on “Gossip Girl.” So Bell’s launching her own Twitter campaign to reignite the idea of a “Veronica Mars” movie, which was apparently shot down by Warner Bros. last year. The TV show, which ran for three seasons on the CW, was critically adored but not a huge ratings success. Still, the “I Would See a Veronica Mars Movie” Facebook page has already garnered more than 14,000 fans, NY mag reports, and apparently 8,000 more have signed a petition. Hey, it worked for getting Betty White on “SNL.”
