Marvel Studios is currently announcing the cast of “Avengers: Doomsday”on a livestream. The film is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2026.

The upcoming movie is being directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, who previously helmed four Marvel films including 2018’s “Avengers: Infinity War” and 2019’s “Avengers: Endgame.”

Marvel announced at San Diego Comic-Con last year that Robert Downey Jr. is returning to the franchise as the villain Victor von Doom/Doctor Doom. The actor previously played Tony Stark/Iron Man, who died in “Endgame.”

“Avengers: Doomsday” will be followed by “Avengers: Secret Wars,” set for release on May 7, 2027.

Some of the announced cast members including Sebastian Stan, Patrick Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Vanessa Kirby, Tenoch Huerta, Winston Duke, Hannah John-Kamen and more.

Here is the full cast of “Avengers: Doomsday.”

Hemsworth, 41, is back as Thor. He’s played the God of Thunder in nine Marvel movies so far.

Kirby, 36, is making her Marvel debut as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman in “Fantastic Four: First Steps,” which comes out on July 25, 2025.

Mackie, 46, is returning as Sam Wilson/Captain America. He just starred in “Captain America: Brave New World.”

Stan, 42, will play Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier again in “Avengers: Doomsday.” Before that, he’ll appear in “Thunderbolts,” out May 2, 2025.

Wright, 31, is reprising her role as Shuri/the new Black Panther. She’s already been in four Marvel movies, including “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” which filmed after Chadwick Boseman’s tragic death.

Rudd, 55, is shrinking down into Scott Lang/Ant-Man again, a role he’s played in multiple MCU films already.

Russell, 38, is back as John Walker/US Agent. He previously appeared in the series “Falcon and the Winter Soldier” and will be in “Thunderbolts.”

Tenoch Huerta Mejia, 44, last played Namor in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” where he was the main antagonist.

Moss-Bachrach, 48, will make his Marvel debut as Ben Grimm/The Thing in “Fantastic Four: First Steps” before “Avengers: Doomsday.”

Liu, 35, is reprising his role as Shang-Chi from his 2021 stand-alone film.

Pugh, 29, is back as Yelena Belova. She starred in “Black Widow” and “Hawkeye” and will also be in “Thunderbolts.”

Grammer, 70, will be in “Avengers: Doomsday” after playing his “X-Men” character Hank McCoy/Beast in the postcredits scene of “The Marvels.”

Pullman, 32, is playing Bob/Sentry. He’ll debut as the character in “Thunderbolts.”

Ramirez, 32, will play Joaquin Torres/Falcon again. He just starred in “Captain America: Brave New World.”

Quinn, 31, will play Johnny Storm/Human Torch in “Fantastic Four” and “Avengers: Doomsday.”

Harbour, 49, will return as the Red Guardian. He’ll also be in “Thunderbolts.”

Duke, 38, is returning as M’Baku. He was in both “Black Panther” movies and the last two “Avenger” movies.

John-Kamen, 35, is reprising her role as Ava Starr/Ghost. She will also be in “Thunderbolts.”

Hiddleston, 44, is back as Loki. He’s been in various Marvel projects including the two-season “Loki” series on Disney+.

Stewart, 84, is reprising his role as Professor Charles Xavier. He was in the “X-Men” movies and then “Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.”

Sir Ian McKellen, 85, will return as Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto in “Avengers: Doomsday” after portraying the character in several “X-Men” films.

Alan Cumming, 60, will reprise his role as Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler after making his Marvel debut in “X2: X-Men United.”

Rebecca Romijn, 52, will officially return as Mystique. She starred as the shapeshifter in “X-Men, X2: X-Men United,” “X-Men: The Last Stand” and “X-Men: First Class and Joan in The Punisher.”

James Marsden, 51, is coming back as Scott Summers/Cyclops in “Avengers: Doomsday” after taking on the role in four “X-Men.”

Channing Tatum, 44, will return as Remy LeBeau/Gambit, which he first played in “Deadpool & Wolverine.”

Pedro Pascal, 49, will appear in “Avengers: Doomsday” as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic. But first, fans will watch him in “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” out July 25. He’ll then appear as Mister Fantastic in “Avengers: Secret Wars,” set to be released May 7, 2027.
