Avengers Assemble.
Marvel Studios is currently announcing the cast of “Avengers: Doomsday”on a livestream. The film is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2026.
The upcoming movie is being directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, who previously helmed four Marvel films including 2018’s “Avengers: Infinity War” and 2019’s “Avengers: Endgame.”
Marvel announced at San Diego Comic-Con last year that Robert Downey Jr. is returning to the franchise as the villain Victor von Doom/Doctor Doom. The actor previously played Tony Stark/Iron Man, who died in “Endgame.”
“Avengers: Doomsday” will be followed by “Avengers: Secret Wars,” set for release on May 7, 2027.
Some of the announced cast members including Sebastian Stan, Patrick Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Vanessa Kirby, Tenoch Huerta, Winston Duke, Hannah John-Kamen and more.

Chris Hemsworth

Vanessa Kirby

Wright, 31, is reprising her role as Shuri/the new Black Panther. She’s already been in four Marvel movies, including “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” which filmed after Chadwick Boseman’s tragic death.

Rudd, 55, is shrinking down into Scott Lang/Ant-Man again, a role he’s played in multiple MCU films already.
