It took no mercy.

“Mercy” beat out all its box office competition on its opener Friday, raking in $5 million, according to The Numbers.

The sci-fi action thriller — starring Chris Pratt and Rebecca Ferguson, who play a police detective and an AI-generated judge, respectively — will “have you on the edge of your seat,” according to Deadline.

“Avatar: Fire and Ash” remained in the second spot, with sales of $1.7 million on its sixth Friday in theaters.

In third was the supernatural psychological horror “Return to Silent Hill,” with $1.6 million in revenue.

The third installment in the “Silent Hill” film series — which is based on a video game and cost $23 million to make — was slammed by IndieWire as “a nasty, claustrophobic display of staggering creative ineptitude.”

Disney’s “Zootopia 2” stayed in fourth with a $1.4 million take.
