A couple of developments after I posted yesterday’s item about the Diane English‘s all-star remake of “The Women,” starring Meg Ryan, Eva Mendes and Anette Bening in the old Norma Shearer, Joan Crawford and Rosalind Russell roles, currently scheduled for limited release on Sept. 12. Picturehouse finally put out this trailer and Nikki Finkereports Warner Bros., which passed on taking over distribution from the about-to-close Picturehouse, may be taking another look in the wake of the smash opening for “Sex and the City.”
