So. . . new trailer’s out for “The Other Guys.” The latest from the director of “Step Brothers” and “Talladega Nights.” In other words, yet another vehicle in which Will Ferrell’s man-child character will wear incredibly dorky outfits, be improbably confident yet wholly incompetent and at some point freak out like a five-year-old on too much sugar. That said: yep, it does look kind of funny. Also, kudos to the casting genius who snagged The Rock (sorry, “Dwayne Johnson” just isn’t catching on) and Samuel Jackson as the office bullies. And that last bit about movie explosions is kinda great. Hooray for Hollywood comfort food!
