of Larry Charles‘ “Bruno” — not an easy film to describe in detail in a family newspaper, and probably not a comfortable sit for some avowedly heterosexual dudes. Sacha Baron Cohen plays the gay fashionista who supposedly dupes celebrities and other people, which probably would have seemed funnier if we hadn’t seen their masterpiece “Borat” in 2006. based on a sampling of 20 reviewers. The week’s other gay-panic comedy, the mumblecore teaser “Humpday,” is rating 94 at this point. Both open Friday.
