Looking at this enticing new trailer for Darren Aronofsky’s “Black Swan” with Natalie Portman, who have to wonder exactly why the New York Film Festival would take a pass on a thriller set in Gotham’s ballet world. The Fox Searchlight release will open the Venice Film Festival, and I’ll be seeing it at the Toronto International Film Festival a few days later.
