The NYPD isn’t clowning around about crime.
Cops in the 19th Precinct used imagery from the Stephen King thriller “It” Sunday to remind people to call in crimes in progress.
Manhattan’s 19th Precinct tweeted a photo of a community affairs officer inspecting a red balloon tied to a sewer grate — the calling card of maniacal killer-clown Pennywise in King’s novel-turned-film that debuted this weekend — along with a caption reading: “Yeah, um, #IfYouSeeSomethingSaySomething.”
