Mickey Rourke has been considered a lock for a Best Actor nomination for his comeback performance in “The Wrestler,” but that didn’t stop the famously self-destructive actor from effectively taking himself out of contention. In a case of spectacularly bad timing, Rourke used an anti-gay hate word to refer to a writer — just days after the passage of Prop 8.
