The frontrunning “Slumdog Millionaire” won the top prize early today from the Producers Guild of America, whose picks have coincided with Oscar’s Best Picture 12 of the last 19 years. “Wall-E” got their award for animated feature, and “Man on Wire” was chosen best documentary. We’ll see what the Screen Actors Guild does tonight. I’ll be liveblogging on their movies awards beginning around 8:15.
