Last night’s Oscars were among the least-watched ever, reports Nielsen, up only about 6 percent from last year’s lowest-ever ratings. Ratings were highest in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. More detailed numbers later today. Meanwhile, Aussies (including commenters on this blog) are not taking the overwhelmingly negative U.S. reviews for Hugh Jackman‘s hosting gig well. I just got a call from a station in Perth asking for an interview, which I can’t do because I have to head out to a screening.
