The stars of “Pitch Perfect” reunited Monday to raise funds for relief efforts around the globe.
Anna Kendrick, 35, the newly svelte Rebel Wilson, 40, and Hailee Steinfeld, 23 — who last performed as a musical group in 2017’s “Pitch Perfect 3” — reunited as the Barden Bellas, belting out a new cover of Beyoncé’s 2011 hit “Love on Top” to raise donations for UNICEF.
The international charity has launched aide efforts to support children in Beirut following a massive chemical blast earlier this month. The organization is also raising funds to fight the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
Actress-director Elizabeth Banks (“Charlie’s Angels”), who co-starred as sassy vocal group commentator Gail Abernathy-McKadden in the franchise, shared the clip to her 2.3 million Instagram followers.
“Buckle up kids, the Bella’s are back . . . for a good cause!” Banks, 46, captioned her post before explaining how to donate money to UNICEF’s #ForEveryChild campaign.
At the end of the clip, Kendrick and the Bellas hoisted a sign that read: “As the key gets higher and Kelley takes over the top notes, I just want to say I miss you guys so much!”
The virtual Insta video had racked up more than 230,000 viral views as of Tuesday morning.
