While speaking to the Post about “Predators,” Rodriguez debunked an Internet rumor that he’s set to direct “Deadpool,” the “Wolverine” spin-off starring Ryan Reynolds as a masked super agent.

“I’m not making it,” Rodriguez says. “I was offered it, but I’m not sure yet. In that world on the Internet, they always have to have a story. I get offered a lot of things, but until it’s a go, it’s not a story.”

Next up for him will be a “Spy Kids” reboot, then “Sin City 2” (the greenlighting of which, he says, was not harmed by creator Frank Miller laying a huge egg two years ago with “The Spirit.”) 

As for another project Rodriguez has been linked to, the sword-and-sorcery epic “Red Sonja,” the director says that one will wait to see how next year’s revamp of “Conan” fares.
